A lovely French family based in Paris is seeking a proactive, curious, organised and fun nanny to care for their three bilingual children: two boys aged 7 and 5, and a girl aged 3.
The children were born in London and are fluent in both English and French, and the family is looking for a nanny who is warm, caring and engaging, and who can provide a stimulating environment for their development. A strong dose of common sense and a good sense of humour would be a real bonus.
Native English speakers are preferred, with EU passport holders ideally suited to the role; however, visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate who brings the right experience, energy and enthusiasm. Start date: July/August.
Responsibilities of the Live-in Nanny in Paris, include:
- Full care of the three children, including school pick-ups and drop-offs, activities and general day-to-day care
- Confident driving of the children to and from activities
- All children-related household duties, including laundry and ironing
- Keeping all areas relating to the children clean and tidy
- Cooking meals for the family to enjoy together (no allergies to accommodate)
- Working alongside a bilingual nanny helper who assists on Wednesdays
- Accompanying the family on holidays as required, including to their homes in Normandy and Provence and on ski trips, and potentially to European cities as the children get older
- Experience as a Private Nanny with similar aged children
- A native English speaker
- Loving, caring and stimulating with children
- Proactive, curious, organised and fun
- Full of common sense, with a good sense of humour
- A confident, experienced driver
- An EU passport holder preferred; the family are happy to sponsor a visa for the right candidate
- Comfortable working within a household that also employs a part-time nanny helper and a cleaner
Separate accommodation is provided within the family’s building: a self-contained one-bedroom flat of approximately 30 sqm.
When travelling with the family, the nanny has their own bedroom and bathroom where possible.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 08:00 – 19:00, with a one-hour break.
Wednesday: 09:00 – 19:00, with a bilingual nanny helper assisting on this day. Five weeks’ paid annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
