We are reinforcing our Technical Service team (Marine Field Service) team at our location in Puteaux, France.
ZF’s customer approach is organized through dedicated customer teams. This role is part of the Technical Service team within the marine field and aims to provide high-quality technical support, including commissioning, diagnostics, failure analysis, and repair activities. The position also supports customers and service partners through technical training and ensures reliable operation of systems both in the field and remotely.
What you can look forward to as Technical Service Field Assistance:
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic component failures in ZF systems
- Perform diagnostics using specialized tools and technical equipment
- Support commissioning activities, repairs, and rehabilitation campaigns
- Plan and monitor material and resource availability for external service operations
- Manage warranty claims and support claim handling via dedicated portals
- Provide customer service support, including hotline assistance
- Organize and conduct technical training for customers and service partners
- Prepare service documentation, spare parts lists, and maintenance instructions
Your profile as Technical Service Field Assistance:
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of marine transmission systems
- Solid technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or marine systems
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative, customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to address diverse audiences
- Proven ability to work with internal teams, external partners, and customers internationally
- Flexibility, high motivation, and willingness to travel frequently
- Professional proficiency in technical French, advanced level of English
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
