Role Description
We are looking for enthusiastic part-time English Teachers to join our growing team in the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area.
Position Details
- Location: On-site
- Schedule: 10–15 teaching hours per week
- Students: Ages 3–18 (class assignments based on experience, availability, and student level)
Curriculum
Teachers may be assigned classes using:
- Ages 3–8: Gleeschool Curriculum
- Ages 8–12: Cambridge Fun for Learners
- Ages 12–18: Cambridge Open World
Teaching assignments vary depending on students' ages, English proficiency, and the school's scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons.
- Create a positive, supportive, and motivating classroom environment.
- Teach using Gleeschool and Cambridge curriculum materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues and parents.
- Participate in teacher training, meetings, and school events.
- Inspire students to build confidence while developing practical English communication skills.
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency (C2 level or equivalent).
- A recognized English teaching qualification (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching young learners, particularly children.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A creative, engaging, and patient teaching approach.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Cambridge English courses.
- Experience teaching learners across different age groups.
- Ability to create engaging lessons through games, songs, storytelling, and interactive activities.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications is an asset.
