United Sport & Cycle is seeking a permanent Full-Time Seasonal Sport Repair Technician to join our team to help continue our history of going above & beyond for our customers and their sports needs. This position will be accountable for providing excellent customer service and workmanship in sports equipment repair, cleaning, & sharpening. This role is very hands-on as part of the Sport Repair Team that at times is a very fast paced environment.
You are known for your above and beyond customer service, mechanical aptitude, and an ability to focus on your tasks in a busy setting. You embrace the opportunity to repair and service customer’s sports equipment, to problem solve different situations, and learn new product knowledge / skills as required.
In addition, you have:

2+ years experience of repairing or servicing sporting equipment or something similar

Previous skate sharpening experience

A passion for working with your hands and keeping busy!

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills

A positive attitude and able to work with others to coordinate daily duties and be an effective team member.

A keen attention to detail and accuracy paired with the ability to stay focused.

A desire to adhere to safety precautions put in place.

Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete tasks.

Ability to understand and communicate in the English Language with customers and co-workers.

Basic computer skills / experience an asset

Availability to work weekdays and weekends
