About the Job
At Babychou Services, an agency specializing in home childcare, we are looking for a motivated, caring, and dynamic individual to look after two young boys on a daily basis at their home in Nice.
Your Responsibilities:
Working directly at the family's home, your main duties will include:
- Daily Care & Safety : Ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of two young boys after school/nursery.
- Language Immersion : Interacting, playing, and communicating exclusively in English to support the children's language development.
- Early Learning & Development : Organizing fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities (games, reading, creative workshops).
- Hygiene & Meals : Assisting with end-of-day hygiene routines (changing, dressing if necessary) and preparing/serving snacks or meals.
- Child's Routine : Respecting each child's sleep schedules, habits, and daily routines.
- Parent Relations : Ensuring smooth, professional, and reassuring communication with the parents at the end of the day.
Profile Required :
- Language Skills : You are a native English speaker or fully bilingual (fluent English is mandatory) and comfortable using it as the sole language of communication with the children.
- Key Qualities : Patient, responsible, gentle, punctual, and creative.
- Experience : Prior experience (babysitting, childcare internships, family circle) is a plus, but your motivation and interpersonal skills are what truly make the difference.
What we offer :
- Contract type : Part-time / Intermittent CDI.
- Schedule: 40 hours per month.
- Compensation : Hourly rate based on the current French minimum wage (SMIC), plus contract-related benefits.
