Job Summary
CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Cans Front End Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize the high-speed machinery responsible for the initial stages of aluminum can production. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on various canning line front-end equipment, including cuppers, bodymakers, and trimmers.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and adjustments to ensure machinery operates within specified parameters and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and improve overall line efficiency.
- Execute equipment changeovers and set-ups accurately and efficiently.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements accurately in the maintenance management system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with specific experience on canning lines or similar high-speed production machinery.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and data entry.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.
