We are currently looking for a DCS Commissioning Supervisor in the framework of the commissioning phase of a large-scale hydrogen production project in France.
The assignment consists in supporting the site team during the first phase of commissioning activities on a new plant equipped with PEM electrolyzers, with a particular focus on all DCS-related activities.
On a daily basis, the DCS Commissioning Expert will report directly to the Site Team.
The main duties are the following:

Perform a cold-eye review of the existing DCS design and configuration.

Support the site team in the execution of all DCS-related commissioning activities, including logic checks, functional tests and loop checks.

Review the DCS architecture, logic and functional philosophy in order to identify inconsistencies, weaknesses or improvement opportunities.

Challenge the existing DCS design and propose relevant technical recommendations whenever necessary.

Participate in the preparation, execution and follow-up of commissioning tests related to instrumentation and control systems.

Analyse test results, identify deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.

Ensure that DCS-related activities are carried out in line with project requirements, commissioning procedures and site constraints.

Interface with site teams and other disciplines in order to ensure smooth coordination of commissioning activities.

Provide clear reporting on progress, issues encountered, technical findings and recommended actions.

Contribute actively to the safe and efficient start-up preparation of the plant.

Proven experience in DCS systems and logic checks within an industrial project environment.

Strong ability to support site teams during commissioning activities related to control systems and instrumentation.

Good understanding of process and piping documentation, including P&IDs, isometrics, support books and related documents.

Good understanding of E&I documentation, including logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and instrument hook-ups.

Autonomous, proactive and able to work efficiently in a dynamic site environment.

Strong team spirit, good reporting skills and the ability to take ownership of technical topics.

Good level of leadership and ability to challenge existing solutions in a constructive manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
