Job Description
Job SummaryProvides support to the Global Trade Support Manager by preparing customer correspondence, rate quotes, and service announcements. Serves as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve sales-related issues and support customer satisfaction. Maintains rate information in T-Link and Accurate systems in accordance with established guidelines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as an internal support contact to coordinate sales and service issues for customers within Global Trade Lane by correspondence or telephone.
Coordinates all approvals for exceptions to service standards. Researches information and follows up on rate quotations and sales leads.
Performs competitive price research for sales management and executive management to assist in making sound pricing decisions.
Monitors competitive tariffs and advises management of change. Makes recommendations on course of action which has effect on company market share.
Provides price research for departmental projects which is used in conjunction with market research for market revenue projections.
Analyzes company price trend by island and region. Provides executive management with price trends in conjunction with overall price objectives.
Reviews requests for company rate changes verifying figures used to ensure sound pricing decisions.
Provides Pricing Support for the NVOCC Business Units, including filing of rates and contracts, rate / cost analysis, conflict checks, etc.
Audits NVOCC monthly filing invoices for accuracy.
Keeps a log of rates provided and status per customer.
Creates / maintains rate matrices for Global Trade. Coordinates all approvals for exceptions to service standards.
Follows up on current contract for expiration and renewal.
Provides support on rate discrepancies for FCN’s
Consistently updates all customer profiles and activities in SFA/CRM, BOTE, T-Link, People Soft and all other database systems ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
Attends assigned training courses and deliver World Class Customer Service
Assigns and maintains direct shipment information on database and T-Link.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education (Minimum)Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or in a related field, Marketing or Business Administration
Experience (custom)Minimum one year general business experience
LicenseValid local driver's license and valid passport.
Travel5% travel to various Tropical locations?
PhysicalOffice Environment - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. Ability to sit 1/3 - 2/3 of day. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc.) Occasionally exposed to outside elements during the course of traveling.?
