TP ICAP Midcap is the investment bank of TP ICAP Group Plc, specialized in European Small & Mid Caps. TP ICAP Midcap supports entrepreneurs in their development and financing strategies through a combined approach that leverages expertise in investment banking, advisory, and capital markets (ECM and DCM).
Role Overview
This is an internship in the Midcap team based in Paris, offering an opportunity to support the Corporate Finance team’s day to day efforts, gaining hands-on experience.
Role Responsibilities
Assisting in the execution of mandates on behalf of the Corporate Finance team, such as:
Assistance with ECM / DCM transactions (IPOs, capital increases, financing, etc.)
Taking part in weekly calls on current deals
Producing presentation materials for transactions
Monitoring the financing market, maintaining our internal files for monitoring financing transactions
Assistance with our prospecting missions, such as:
Assistance in preparing prospecting pitches (PowerPoint)
Carrying out market research, screening samples of companies, targeting, etc.
Assistance with the organisation and running of events organised by the marketing team, such as:
Experience / Competences
Essential
Fluent (written and oral) in both English and French
Clear communication skills - confident but with humility
Good networking skills and emotional intelligence to build effective relationships
Strong work ethic with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and resilience
Drive and ambition to learn and thrive in this fast-paced, high energy business
Proficiency in IT tools (Office pack, Factset is a plus)
