iféa – Émilie du Châtelet, a bilingual school located in Clichy, is looking for an English-speaking Student Supervisor / Education Assistant to join its team from 31 August 2026.
Located at 28 rue Petit, 92110 Clichy, our school welcomes primary and middle school students in a caring, ambitious and international environment.
About the role
We are looking for an English-speaking or fully bilingual English/French candidate to support students during school life periods and contribute to the smooth daily running of the school.
This role is mainly focused on student supervision, pastoral support and educational guidance, primarily outside classroom teaching time.
Main responsibilities
Under the supervision of the school leadership team and the Head of Student Life, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising students during arrival, breaks, lunch, transitions between classes and dismissal.
- Ensuring that school rules and expectations are understood and respected.
- Supporting students in their behaviour, autonomy and organisation.
- Helping maintain a calm, safe, positive and caring school climate.
- Supporting students during study periods or independent work time.
- Occasionally providing classroom supervision or cover, depending on the school’s needs.
- Communicating with students in English in order to strengthen the school’s bilingual environment.
Candidate profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- English-speaking or has an excellent level of English.
- Comfortable working with children and young teenagers.
- Reliable, punctual, dynamic and caring.
- Able to set clear boundaries while building positive relationships with students.
- A strong team player.
- Previous experience in a school, childcare, youth work, student supervision or educational support would be appreciated.
Contract and working conditions
- Fixed-term contract, from 31 August 2026 to 8 July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards.
- Annualised full-time position: 40 hours per week during school weeks only, and 0 hours during school holidays.
- Salary paid in equal monthly instalments over 10 months, including school holiday periods.
- Gross annual salary equivalent: approximately €23,000 to €24,000.
- If the fixed-term contract is not followed by a permanent contract, a 10% end-of-contract allowance will be paid in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
