Sonar Expert – Acoustic Engineering
We are looking for an experienced Sonar Expert to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in acoustics, sonar systems, underwater acoustics, signal processing, and acoustic measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze, and optimize sonar and underwater acoustic systems.
- Conduct acoustic measurements, testing, and data analysis.
- Analyze acoustic signals and support sonar performance evaluation.
- Develop and validate acoustic models and simulation methods.
- Troubleshoot technical and performance issues related to sonar systems.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on acoustic projects.
- Support system testing, validation, and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in Sonar, Underwater Acoustics, Hydroacoustics, or Acoustic Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of acoustic measurements and signal processing.
- Experience with acoustic modeling/simulation tools is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English.
- Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with military/naval sonar systems.
- Experience with underwater acoustic sensors and transducers.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or similar technical tools.
- Experience in R&D, testing, and system validation.
