About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and can take full ownership of features from design to deployment. You'll work closely with product to build performant, accessible experiences on our React/TypeScript stack — and you actively use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to ship faster and with higher quality.
We intentionally remain a small, fast, demanding team of senior engineers, with a high bar for execution and quality.
What you’ll do:

Own and deliver front-end features end to end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and production monitoring, with minimal oversight.

Architect scalable, maintainable front-end systems using React and TypeScript, making pragmatic trade-offs between speed and long-term code health.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools daily to accelerate code generation, reviews, debugging, and testing, and drive their adoption across the team.

Collaborate tightly with Product, and Backend engineers to shape features from the earliest stages.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance.

Manage and coordinate with off-shore engineers to parallelize work and ship faster.
Requirements
What you bring:
Must Have: 6+ years building production web apps and deep knowledge of modern React patterns. Experience in a startup or scale-up environment with a strong ownership mindset.
Nice to Have: Exposure to backend technologies (Node.js, REST/GraphQL, Python). Interest in building AI-powered tools or integrating LLMs into product features. Daily use of AI coding assistants as a core part of your workflow.
