We are pleased to offer Chalet Manager positions within our Relaxed Catered Chalets in Val d’Isère.

Role Overview
This is a dynamic and hands-on position, leading the chalet team to deliver an exceptional five-star guest experience. The role is centred on outstanding customer service, with the key aim of delivering world-class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest.
As a Chalet Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of your chalet, supported by your team. This includes overseeing front-of-house, driver and housekeeping services within the property. This is a highly rewarding role, involving frequent interaction with both guests and team members. You will work a variety of shifts as part of a collaborative team, covering the full range of services outlined below.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Service Delivery
- Meal service: Breakfast, afternoon tea and family-style evening meal service. Maintaining high standards of service and catering within the property by leading your team and providing feedback or support where required.
- Driver service: Managing the chauffeur rota to ensure all guest requests are met promptly, while maintaining clear communication with other managers.
- Housekeeping service: Working alongside the Chalet Hosts and Resort Assistant to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently met.
Concierge Service
- Using information provided by the guests and sales department prior to the guests’ arrival in resort, you will make any required bookings and confirm those that have already been made. This can include restaurants, ski school, ski hire and in-resort activities.
- Communicating proactively with guests to ensure all queries are answered and special requests are met at the earliest opportunity.
Accounts and Budgets
- Completing weekly chalet accounts accurately and on time.
- Collaboration with the Chalet Chef to ensure that food budgets are managed effectively.
- Management of petty cash.
Administration
- Preparing weekly reports.
- Preparing weekly rotas and timesheets.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with company head office colleagues, including Finance, HR, Operations and Sales.
Chalet Maintenance: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the relevant person.
Team Management
- Providing ongoing feedback to your team and offering training where appropriate. You may also be required to deliver in-depth training for mid-season new starters.
- Staff food: Supervising the chef and ensuring that team meals are planned for all seven days of the week, while providing additional support on the chef’s days off.
Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
