The IT & Security team supports our people across offices and factories, and covers endpoints, corporate systems, security and compliance. As the team builds out its foundations — compliance programme, migration of our device management platform, roll-out of a detection capability — it is looking for its next apprentice to contribute across several areas.
Level 1 support accounts for roughly half of the role in the first year. This share decreases as documentation and automation are put in place.
Level 1 support: handling employee requests, managing accounts and access, preparing devices for new joiners. Support is provided in English.
IT documentation: setting up a documentation process, defining a reusable template per document family, building AI writing assistants, producing user and administration guides. All documentation is written in English.
IT processes: formalising the team’s processes (joiners, movers and leavers, request handling, hardware lifecycle, recurring reviews), monitoring how they are applied and measuring gaps.
Device management: contributing to the MDM migration, defining configuration profiles, tracking encryption and updates, maintaining the asset inventory.
Security and compliance: taking part in the annual penetration test and remediation follow-up, contributing to access reviews across infrastructure and product systems, preparing audit evidence, maintaining the third-party register.
Automation and detection: industrialising recurring controls with no-code tooling, contributing to log source onboarding and to the documentation of detection use cases.
Entering the first year of a two-year master’s programme in cybersecurity, systems and networks, or risk and compliance (open to applicants holding a three-year degree)
Fluent English, written and spoken
Good command of macOS; working knowledge of Windows
Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN)
Security basics: identity management, MFA, least privilege, vulnerability management
Comfortable with no-code automation tools and AI assistants. Some Python or Bash is a genuine advantage, particularly for verifying what AI produces
Rigorous documentation habits, autonomy, service mindset
macOS for most of the fleet, Windows as a complement. Google Workspace, Slack, Jira and Confluence. Google Cloud Platform. Claude, deployed company-wide and used daily, including to build our own internal agents. Device management platform and automation tooling currently being selected. EDR, secrets manager, SIEM being rolled out.
