About the role & team
This leadership role leads the entire B2C seller performance agenda for FRIT. It includes coordinating sellers, commercial trading, incentives, and seller marketing activity. The role focuses strongly on profitable GMV growth and delivering an outstanding seller experience. The role is highly strategic and hands-on, operating in a matrix with global functions while being the regional reference point for professional sellers in France and Italy. You will report directly to the C2C & Seller success director, and have a small team to run.
What you will accomplish
Own B2C sellers portfolio management and performance : define the strategy, segmentation and performance framework, ensuring clear growth plans by segment and category.
Lead the trading and incentives agenda (pricing, promotions, incentive programs, deals, seasonal campaigns) to deliver GMV, margin and inventory health targets while maintaining a high-quality buyer and seller experience.
Set and implement the B2C seller marketing strategy, crafting always-on and campaign-based programs that acquire, activate and retain high-value B2C sellers.
Represent FRIT B2C sellers in global forums, developing roadmaps, policies and experiences that unlock growth for commercial vendors while balancing risk, trust and compliance.
Build and lead a small, high-performing cross-functional pod (direct and dotted-line) across trading, seller marketing and account management, ensuring clarity of priorities, operating rhythm and accountability on critical metrics (GMV, revenue, active sellers, NPS/CSAT).
Act as a senior point of escalation and thought partner for country/category leaders on B2C topics (e.g., performance issues, category opportunities, competition moves), turning issues into structured action plans.
Drive continuous improvement of seller journeys and processes across the French and Italian markets. Partner with Product, GCX, Risk, Finance, and Legal to simplify, scale, and standardize where it makes sense.
What you will bring
Proven experience (+12) in e-commerce/marketplaces, top-tier consulting, or commercial / trading roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue and margin through data-led decision making and experimentation.
Demonstrated experience leading multi-country or multi-market portfolios, ideally including France and/or Italy, and working effectively in a global matrix environment.
Strong commercial and trading competence: you are comfortable owning GMV and margin levers, crafting incentives, promotions and marketing programs, and evaluating return on investment across channels and segments.
Shown ability to translate insights into action: you can structure ambiguous problems, size opportunities, run tests and iterate quickly with clear success metrics.
Required proficiency in French and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
Based in France, with the ability to travel between markets and to eBay hubs as needed.
A self-starter, highly autonomous and hands-on leader who is comfortable operating with limited structure, setting direction and building momentum across teams without formal authority.
Strong partner management and communication skills, able to simplify complex topics, influence senior leaders and align diverse teams around a clear plan.
People leadership experience (direct or matrix) with an emphasis on mentoring, feedback, and inclusion. This involves crafting an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and performance remains transparent.
