Responsibilities:
Technical support expertise:
Research and selection of raw materials: sourcing, quotations, and evaluation in collaboration with regulatory, sustainable development, for our Functional ingredients pipeline
Bring technical support and collaborate closely with Functional ingredients and Co-creation teams through ingredients & polymers characterizations and valorization
Implement and develop new characterization and methods into the laboratory
Scout for new and innovative characterization tools or methods for specific projects through congresses, trade shows, literature watch
Project management:
Implement collaborative partnership with external partners
Design experiments and studies, both internally or with partners and follow up on results and/or stability data
Actively participate in new devices and instruments acquisitions in the laboratory
Build technical documentation through reports and presentations
Key challenges:
Build partnership and collaboration on emerging new technologies or innovative methods.
Develop better internal tools to characterize our functional ingredients
Handling short-term deadlines to meet customer needs while working on mid/long term for new pipeline ingredients developments.
Requirements:
3+ years cosmetic formulation
3+ years physicochemical characterization
2+ years of project management
Inclination for lab trials & method development
Management project
Affinity for cross-team collaborations
Fluent in French & English (written and spoken)
PhD. Specialized in chemical, physico-chemical and formulation with specific skills in polymer characterization
