NSF is looking for a self-employed Food Service Auditor to join our team in Clermont-Ferrand.
You will play a crucial role in furthering our mission at NSF. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn more about many of the businesses you may frequent as a consumer. You’ll inform and educate restaurant, bar and grocery store owners about specific standards, while continuing to learn more about those industries and growing your skills.

How Independent Contracting Works:
- You operate on a self‑employed basis , completing Red Tractor assessments on behalf of NSF.
- You are paid per audit, with travel expenses covered , where applicable.
- You share your availability, and visits are scheduled based on your location, experience, and scheme coverage.
- Work is offered on an ad hoc basis and can vary throughout the year depending on programme needs.
- Independent contracting offers autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to shape your own workload .

- Qualifications: Minimum two years working in retail or catering
- Food safety diploma (Bac+2)
- Fluency in French and English
- Ability to perform audits in all disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire) and/or the ability to train safety advisors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full driving license and vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
