The team:
At Bank of America, our Global Capital Markets business comprises our Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Leveraged Finance (LevFin), and Sustainable Solutions Group (SSG) businesses. In all of these businesses we assist our clients in accessing and navigating the financial markets and provide tailored capital markets solutions to address a broad range of objectives. Across the four groups, our clients include investment grade and sub-investment grade corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms and sovereign, supranational and sovereign (SSA) issuers.
The position is available within DCM, in which products include bonds, loans, capital products, liability management and FX and rates solutions.
Programme Overview
Our Off-Cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of what it is like to work as a full time Capital Markets analyst. For applications to this London programme, if successful you will be assigned to the DCM team. Analysts in DCM business, within our GCM team, are involved in originating and executing a wide variety of debt solutions for our clients. The DCM team advise a broad client base which includes corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign, supranational and sovereign (SSA) issuers in both developed and emerging markets across EMEA. Specifically, we focus on advisory, structuring and execution solutions for our clients seeking to raise new debt financing using a broad range of products to achieve their objectives. You will work with our GCM partners, in addition to our Corporate and Investment bankers, to support clients by advising on optimal methods to access financing, whether for acquisitions, general financing or strengthening of balance sheets.

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities:
As an analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Work alongside product specialists directly with our clients at top management level to create and deliver financing solutions
Develop a strong understanding of market fundamentals and be able to make market-informed contributions on a broad array of financing strategies that address clients' specific needs
Design highly tailored presentations for clients to outline solutions to their financing needs (such as general corporate financing and acquisition financing)
Work on live transactions and interact with clients and professionals from across the bank as you build your network and experience
Work closely with Investment Banking and Corporate Banking teams on client coverage and origination and with the broader GCM team advising on holistic financing solutions
Work with sales teams and traders in Global Markets to coordinate and manage live deal executions, and liaise with Global Research to stay informed on the latest market developments
Eligibility
Candidates are required to be pursuing either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a completion time frame between January 2026 and July 2028. Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full time employment to commence in July 2028; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals.
