DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Python/AWS) — Paris, France
LexiFi is a leading software provider in the financial derivatives and structured products market. Our solutions are used worldwide by investment banks, private banks, asset managers, insurance firms, and fintech companies. We empower users with tools to create, price, and manage complex financial products — and we also offer our technology as software libraries integrated by partners and service providers globally.
To support our growing infrastructure and tooling needs, we’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to join us at our Paris headquarters (8th arrondissement). In this role, you’ll play a central part in scaling and securing the backbone of our platform — driving improvements in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. You’ll have real ownership, with the autonomy to help define our DevOps roadmap, recommend and implement new tools, and influence key architectural decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with our OCaml-focused development team and help build internal tooling primarily in Python.
- Develop and maintain DevOps tooling — Automate infrastructure tasks, deployment workflows, and internal tools, primarily using Python.
- Administer and evolve our cloud infrastructure, including core AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, and more.
- Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, based on Jenkins, ensuring speed and reliability.
- Enhance observability — Improve and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure performance and uptime.
- Support the development team — Assist with automation, environment setup, and deployment workflows. Familiarity with OCaml is a plus, but not required initially.
- Champion DevOps best practices — Design secure, resilient, and well-documented infrastructure (secret management, backups, access control, etc.) while contributing to our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance efforts.
- Strong experience with Python scripting for DevOps and automation.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience operating and optimizing CI/CD systems, especially Jenkins.
- Solid grounding in Linux system administration.
- Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization practices.
- Exposure to or interest in OCaml.
- This is a full-time role based in Paris (8th arrondissement) at LexiFi’s headquarters.
- Hybrid work model — up to 2 remote days per week, with flexibility in choosing which days.
- Join a deep-tech company at the intersection of finance and software engineering.
- Work in a team of highly skilled developers and infrastructure engineers.
- Help us shape and grow our DevOps culture as we modernize our infrastructure.
- Contribute to a product used by global leaders in finance and tech.
- We foster a collaborative work culture that values technical excellence, code quality, and intellectual curiosity, encouraging team members to continuously learn and contribute ideas.
