You are joining our team, which is looking for two Experts in Sustainable Finance Data for internships of 6 months , to be provided with January 2027 and in July 2027 .
The Sustainable Finance Data Expert intern will support senior team members in executing key CoEI (Center of Expertise & Innovation) initiatives, with a particular focus on rolling out the evaluation of Natixis CIB’s transition plan. (covering data processing, analysis and methodological development).
In this position, the intern will enrich the methodological development as well as the deliverables in order to fuel the strategic dialogue with Natixis clients, and support the integration of climate transition risk into credit impacts. Beyond this core mission, it will manipulate large sets of ESG data (carbon, nature, supply chain, physical risks) to support various applications including ESG consulting and the design of thematic equity indices.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
- Support the deployment of the transition assessment tool (TPA) : Actively participate in its methodological development (via AI and data), its commercial application, and the analysis of the financial/credit impact (CAPEX, EBITDA) of customer trajectories;
- Contribute to consulting assignments and calls for tenders (RFP) : Participate in prospecting, drafting turnkey proposals, and analyzing the sensitivity to physical and environmental risks (cost of inaction) to secure our clients' value;
- Co-creating innovative ESG methodologies : Collaborate on the design of tailor-made investment solutions (equity indices, structured products) through data digging, defining impact criteria and testing models.
The secondary missions will be:
- The creation of materials for clients (thematic research, analysis of market trends, notably through the publication of reports accessible to the public, integrating case studies conducted with clients);
- Creating innovations to support GSH’s origination activities (Green & Sustainable Hub):
- Development of methodologies defining eligible projects, activities or enterprises as underlying for sustainable/green financing (definition of eligibility criteria);
- Creation of reporting and impact assessment tools;
- Creation of new products or mechanisms (e.g. financing instruments indexed to climate performance, instruments linked to key performance indicators - KPIs).
The intern will be able to participate in pitches by suggesting possible innovations and assisting the team during structuring phases when Natixis is appointed as a green or social structurer. He will also be able to help clients with their impact reporting.

As a BAC+ 4/5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in economics and strong quantitative skills.
You ideally have a first experience in the field of sustainable development, ESG or SRI.
You master data processing at an advanced level (collection, processing and use of artificial intelligence).
You are able to read and develop simple programs on Python.
You have a keen analytical and synthetic mind, allowing you to quickly take on new subjects and master the basics.
You are proficient in advanced computer and coding tools.
And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
