Position Overview:
The Knitwear Design Intern will work alongside the Snow Goose, Design Team in our Paris Creative Studio. They will support aspects of product design as led by the Design Manager. Working closely with the whole design team, the Design Intern will partner on a continuous basis to support premium product, the consumer experience and the Canada Goose brand. The Design Intern will collaborate cross-departmentally to support and build a strong seasonal assortment that relates to Canada Goose. Exceptional project and time management skills are a must, paired with the ability to engage the existing core audience while seeking new ways to build the premium global brand.
About The Role:
Design & Product Development

Assist the knitwear design and development teams in translating artistic vision into finished products for collections.
Design Support
-
Collaborate with designers on research, color-ups, organizational tasks, and editing files (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel).

Create and manage knitdown requests for factory development.
Sourcing & Textile Innovation
-
Research new materials, yarns, and technical solutions aligned with brand expectations and sustainability goals.
Technical Management

Maintain and update technical files, collection documents, and development trackers to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Fitting Organization
-
Participate in fittings: prepare samples, document feedback, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (pattern makers, factories) to align with design intent.
Trend & Inspiration Research

Analyze seasonal trends and compile creative references (mood boards, fabric swatches, color palettes) to inspire collections.
Factory & Vendor Communication

Assist in communicating with factories and vendors for knitdown requests, feasibility checks, and initial sample development (pre-PD handoff).
File & Asset Management

Organize and maintain digital libraries (design files, technical specs, fabric references) for easy team access.
Collaboration & Administrative Support

Support cross-functional collaboration between design, product development, and production teams.

Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as preparing presentations, sourcing materials, and coordinating meetings or deadlines.
About You:
Final year or recent graduate of a Fashion Design Program
Eligible 'convention de stage' or internship form
Background in fashion design, textiles, or product development.
Strong affinity for luxury fashion and Haider Ackermann’s aesthetic.
Solid understanding of product development processes (pattern-making, textile construction, finishing).
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Excel.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional English and Italian
proficiency is a plus.

Pay Range:
€21,000.00 - €23,000.00
