ROLE PURPOSE
As a Sales Associate, you will act as a brand ambassador for BAPE, delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving sales performance and maintaining the highest retail standards. You will play a key role in bringing the brand to life in-store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service in line with BAPE brand standards
- Engage customers to maximise sales opportunities and achieve individual and store targets
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including collections, drops, and brand heritage
- Build lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Store Operations
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising
- Support daily replenishment, stock organisation, and tagging accuracy
- Ensure the sales floor is consistently well-presented and aligned with brand guidelines
Inventory & Stock Management
- Assist in stockroom organisation and inventory control
- Participate in regular stock counts and cycle counts
- Highlight discrepancies, stock issues, or potential losses to management
Events & Brand Activities
- Support in-store launches, product releases, and marketing activations
- Contribute to creating an engaging and premium brand environment
Compliance & Teamwork
- Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Communicate any health, safety, or security concerns promptly
- Contribute positively to team culture and store performance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting (up to approx. 20–25kg), crouching, kneeling, and ladder use as required
PERSONAL PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service roles
- Strong communication skills and a natural customer-first mindset
- Sales-driven with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and peak trading periods
- Interest in fashion, streetwear, or premium retail is highly desirable
- Fluent French is required
- English is highly desirable
