CONTEXT & MISSION
The OPmobility Group aims to reinforce its data management capabilities in its business-critical areas.
With the objective to implement the data management and data federation approach for OPmobility Group, the Employee Data Team is set within the HR Function.
Working cross-functionally with the IS-IT Data Office Team and with other data domains’ teams (Finance, Supply etc.), the Employee Data Team organizes its activities in a project mode to deliver timely and accurate Employee data for better business decision making and required reports.
The mission of the Employee Data Projects Leader is to ensure all Employee Data Projects are planned, managed, monitored, and delivered on time and budget, with synergies and in a coordinated manner.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The Employee Data Projects Leader will contribute to the construction of the Employee Data roadmap and will coordinate its realization. S/He will leverage on project management methodologies and tools to ensure Employee Data Projects are efficiently managed from planning until delivery.
Required for decision making or compliance purposes, the nature of Employee Data Projects can be related to: KPIs, dashboards and reports automation, data quality, data maintenance, tools interfaces, machine learning etc. Also, there can be data projects related to the set-up of the data platforms and catalogs. Or projects which will contribute to the evolution of processes and tools of the HRIS core model.
Some of these projects will be directly assigned to the Employee Data Manager, while some others will have a dedicated Functional / Business Project Manager.
For the assigned projects, as well as for the functionally or business managed ones, the Employee Data Projects Leader is responsible for:
Designing, developing, and maintaining project plans and schedules
Managing project resources, identifying, and mitigating risks, monitoring timely execution, and tracking
Defining and implementing project governance, including coordination when required of functional project managers, communicating with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Leading and motivating transverse project team members, resolving conflicts and issues and managing internal escalation whenever required
Implementing performance management KPIs to monitor projects advancement and drive improvements
Setting-up, briefings, meetings, and the reporting to stakeholders on overall Employee Data projects portfolio status
Delivering projects on time, within budget, to the required quality standards
Gathering, integrating and applying lessons learnt from previous projects
Build dashboards in Power BI autonomously (under the supervision of the data office) and must therefore have the skills and legitimacy to do so.
Using technical expertise, understand data integrity issues between our source systems and the data lake (Databricks) and develop an action plan to resolve them with the various necessary stakeholders identified.
The Employee Data Projects professional is responsible to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications for Data Engineers and Developers. S/he is responsible to design optimum Data Products, realize the user acceptance tests of the Data Products and define data quality dashboards, monitoring the level of data accuracy and relevance for business decisions use. All Data Products will be documented and traced using the OPmobility Data Factory and Data4U exposure platform.
S/he masters big data management, exploration and maintenance in the Data Lake, setting-up, controlling and maintaining a robust access security in line with the security legal requirements and OPmobility policies.
To ensure quick wins, for some of the data projects, the Employee Data Projects Leader will be the hands-on build of the solution, using Power BI and SharePoint applications.
Supports the Employee Data Manager in to capture the design of the Data Factory architecture for the Employee Domain and its articulation with the overall Employee Domain overall architecture and with the OPmobility enterprise architecture.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Personal Background
Master’s degree in IS-IT education, preferably with a specialization in Project Management
Knowledge and/or experience with the HR functional domain would be a plus
> 5 years of experience in IS-IT projects management, preferably in the industry sectors
Project management expertise: planning, deployment, tracking of and coordination of IS-IT / Data projects portfolio and stakeholders
Proven experience in working with data: data automation requirements gathering, data migration, data testing, data analysis, data quality controls etc.
Experience in developing dashboards with Power BI
Experience with AI / automation / SQL / SharePoint would be a plus
Excellent Excel and MS Office competencies
Very good English command: fluency in French would be a plus
