The Food & Beverage Trainee (Multi-Skilled Service Associate) is responsible for setting up the point of sale and maintaining it in optimal conditions of cleanliness and supply throughout the service. They act as the operational link between the point of sale and storage areas.
They continuously ensure customer satisfaction and the quality of the guest experience.
Main Duties:
- Prepares and sets up the point of sale in accordance with hotel procedures;
- Clears and cleans tables throughout the service;
- Takes orders and serves beverages;
- Maintains a proactive and sales-oriented attitude toward guests at all times;
- Records guest consumption in the Micros system;
- Ensures the point of sale is properly stocked, respecting stock levels (Par Stock) to guarantee smooth operations;
- Receives, checks, and stores F&B deliveries;
- Conducts rounds within the property to collect Room Service trays and dishes from guest room floors;
- Sets up seminar and banquet rooms in accordance with BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) / function sheets;
- Prepares VIP room amenities according to instructions from the Front Office and established procedures;
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of storage areas;
- Carries out opening and closing of the point of sale in accordance with procedures and established checklists.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of English – Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills – Strong customer service mindset and good relational abilities
