We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to lead the accounting and tax activities for our French entities based in Octeville. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international industrial environment, combining hands-on accounting expertise, team leadership, and process improvement within a finance organization undergoing transformation. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and strong internal controls, while supporting business operations and leading a team of accounting professionals.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounting activities for the French entities in compliance with French GAAP and IFRS.

Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including IFRS reporting to Group Finance.

Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.

Supervise compliance with French tax regulations and manage tax declarations and audits in coordination with Group Tax.

Ensure adherence to the internal control framework and support internal and external audits.

Perform and review key accounting activities including balance sheet reviews, provisions, fixed assets, and inventory valuation.

Act as a finance business partner to the manufacturing site, supporting operational teams on financial topics and projects.

Participate operationally in the monthly closing process using SAP.

Support process improvements and finance system evolution, including SAP developments.

Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring efficient organization, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or equivalent.

Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and tax.

Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience in audit firms or consulting is a plus.

Experience in international or matrix organizations is advantageous.
