We are sourcing a Graduate Engineer – Subsea on a full time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Paris, France, the successful candidate will contribute to engineering activities associated with subsea transportation systems, risers, pipelines, and offshore infrastructure
Duties & Main Responsibilities
Riser & Pipeline Engineering
Support the design and assessment of subsea pipelines, flowlines, and riser systems.
Assist in the preparation of Basis of Design documents, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
Support wall thickness, strength, and structural assessments.
Participate in thermal expansion, buckling, and pipeline walking evaluations.
Assist with on-bottom stability, free-span, and seabed interaction assessments.
Support flexible riser and umbilical design studies.
Offshore Installation Engineering
Support engineering activities related to offshore transportation and installation.
Assist with installation feasibility studies and methodology assessments.
Contribute to installation analyses using industry-standard engineering tools.
Renewable Energy Projects
Support engineering activities for offshore wind and marine renewable developments.
Assist in the design and assessment of subsea cable protection systems, offshore structures, and associated infrastructure.
Contribute to structural and hydrodynamic assessments for renewable energy applications.
Professional Development
Develop technical competence across riser, pipeline, and offshore engineering disciplines.
Gain experience with industry-standard software tools and analytical methods.
Learn and apply relevant offshore design codes and standards.
Participate in structured mentoring and technical training programmes.
Required
0 to 3 years of experience in offshore, marine, structural, mechanical, or subsea engineering.
Strong interest in offshore energy and subsea engineering.
Good understanding of engineering fundamentals including mechanics, structural behaviour, and numerical analysis.
Ability to analyse technical problems and develop practical engineering solutions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn within a multidisciplinary environment.
Comfortable working in an international project environment.
Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Offshore, Ocean, Marine or Energy Engineering.
Internship or graduate experience within offshore energy, oil & gas, offshore wind, or consulting engineering.
Familiarity with offshore engineering standards and recommended practices (DNV, ISO, API).
Fluent English (written and spoken).
French language skills would be advantageous.
Exposure to numerical analysis and engineering software such as, OrcaFlex/Flexcom, Python, AutoCAD
