PhD Opportunity: Cotutelle between ISEP and UIR Rabat
We are seeking a motivated candidate for a three-year PhD conducted jointly between ISEP in France and the International University of Rabat (UIR) in Morocco.
Research topic: "Intelligent, Context-Aware, and Distributed Detection of Multi-Vector Attacks in IoT-SDN Networks across the Edge–Fog–Cloud Continuum"
The candidate will compete with other applicants for an ISEP doctoral grant covering 18 months. Please note that this grant is competitive and therefore not guaranteed. The remaining 18 months of the PhD will take place at UIR in Rabat.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are currently based in France and are ready to spend half of the PhD period at UIR in Rabat.
Candidate profile:
- Master’s degree in telecommunications, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer networks, SDN, IoT, cybersecurity, and edge/fog/cloud computing
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with AI and machine-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Interest in distributed or federated learning
- Good command of English
