About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive Senior IT Site Lead / Support Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of our IT operations across key locations in France (Lyon, Meyzieu, and Paris).
In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for end-users and local business units, managing IT infrastructure, telecom procurement, end-user support, mobile device management, hands-and-feet datacenter support, and GxP compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical hands-on skills, vendor management capabilities, and exceptional communication skills in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities1. End-User & Deskside Support
- Provide L1/L2/L3 hands-on support for workstations, mobile devices, AV equipment, printers, VOIP, and network devices.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow in alignment with SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with local BU IT leads and remote Global Infrastructure / IT Service Desk teams to maximize First Contact Resolution (FCR).
- Manage hardware imaging, system allocation, asset onboarding, and offboarding workflows.
2. Telecom, Mobile & Procurement Management
- Serve as the main contact for French telecom partners (Orange & SFR), handling invoice tracking, line allocations, renumbering, and duplicate SIM requests.
- Oversee MDM enrollment and allocation for iPhones and iPads.
- Manage PC orders and equipment lifecycle leasing with registered partners, organizing logistics and returns (including site transfers between Paris and Lyon).
- Coordinate software requests (e.g., Articulate, SEMrush), ensure licensing authorization, request quotes, and manage vendor purchases.
3. Infrastructure, Facilities & Data Center Support
- Provide "hands-and-feet" support for local Data Center and IDF/MDF rack elevations in coordination with GIDC teams.
- Coordinate with local Facilities teams to ensure UPS, power, and AC maintenance schedules are met.
- Assist in maintaining network security policies and security software compliance (Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, BitLocker, Antivirus).
4. GxP Compliance & Systems Support
- Provide administrative support for the installation, hardening, and configuration of GxP applications and networks.
- Perform and verify data backups, data archival, data restoration, and folder creation on GxP systems (e.g., Empower server).
- Assist vendors with troubleshooting GxP system hardware, OS, network, and specialized printer issues (Zebra, thermal, Canon).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, Deskside Support, and Asset/Procurement Management.
- Languages: Fluent in French (spoken and written - primary user support language) and Proficient in English (corporate/global team communication).
- Technical Skills:
- Windows OS, Active Directory, Domain joining, and Remote Support Tools.
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
- Endpoint Security Tools (BitLocker, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Antivirus).
- Network/Hardware setup (printers, AV/VC equipment, rack patching, UPS).
- MDM tools for iOS/iPadOS management.
- GxP Experience: Prior experience supporting regulated/GxP environments, software validation, and data backup workflows is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Autonomous, strong problem-solving ability, excellent stakeholder management, and team leadership/mentorship capabilities.
