General responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a production area in order to carry out manufacturing and delivery programs, in accordance with Safety/Environment, Quality, Cost, and Deadlines (SQDCM) objectives.
Perform management duties in a three-shift system as part of a complex process (multiple technologies) and with a number of staff to supervise (between 15 and 35).
Main responsibilities:
- Team management: Supervise and lead teams. Have hierarchical authority over staff (interviews, training, etc.).
- Ensure communication within the team.
- Manage team time and activities.
- Ensure schedules are followed, manage leave, and enforce internal regulations
- Complying with and enforcing the rules in force on SQDCM aspects
- Upward and downward reporting (communication)
- Organization and management of production
- Ensuring the sorting, storage, and disposal of waste within your team
- Reporting accidents in real time and informing your manager
- Participating in accident analysis and possibly leading corrective actions
- Establishes workload plans for their workshop, in conjunction with the production unit manager
- Ensures that instructions from operators or adjusters are passed on to the next team and passes on instructions to the supervisor of the next team
- Organizes resources according to unforeseen circumstances and events encountered
- Analyzes the performance of their sector of activity and oversees the associated action plans
- Implements the solutions defined in terms of production organization
- Carries out their manufacturing program based on the logistics production schedule
- Ensures that production reports (hours, quantities, rejects, etc.) are completed and accurate
- Optimizes production with a constant focus on improving performance (effectiveness and efficiency)
- Ensures the development of team members and their skills enhancement
- Ensures that operator training at workstations is appropriate and carried out, and that new employees and temporary workers are welcomed
APS deployment (Autoneum Production System)
- Applies and enforces 5S, TPM, Quality, and Safety standards
- Makes suggestions for improvement
- Involves employees in the continuous improvement process
- Participates in or leads problem-solving projects (QRQC line, 8D)
- Has the authority to immediately implement corrective actions following incidents of any level relating to quality, safety, or the environment.
Profile:
- To succeed in this position, we are looking for someone who is independent, responsive, and capable of analyzing situations. Must be able to manage priorities and anticipate issues. Excellent communication skills
- At least 3 years' experience in production management, preferably in the automotive sector
- Ability to lead working groups
- Ability to work under pressure
Required qualifications:
- Vocational baccalaureate or BTS in industrial engineering/mechanics to Engineer (BAC +2 to BAC +5)
- Good command of SAP and Office
