Avis généraux sur l'entreprise KPMG
Good career prospects but little room for autonomy
After x years you move up to next ‘level’ in career ladder - nice personally but often means those above you that you have to answer to, aren’t always the best at their jobs and that’s frustrating.
Work hours will revolve around your teams, if they prefer to start late and work evenings, you will too.
A lot of hierarchy - often the case that you won’t be able to ask questions to anyone but that person directly above you and then they refer it upwards if necessary. Therefore little credit for your work if often given to you but ultimately, a lot of the time, you are there for the name on your CV and the future prospects so it’s part of the deal
Points positifsFuture career prospects
Points négatifsHierarchy and archaic ways of working

Internal audit trainee
We go to client to test their process. I am exposed to a variety of company processes. I learn who to critical think and interact with Management in order to document the correct results. My co-workers are Partners. Managers and Supervisor at an audit. The hardest part of my Job is having to debate with the client with regards to findings noted.
Points positifsI also love analysing client processes to identify risk and provide controls .
Points négatifsThe hardest part of my Job is having to debate with the client with regards to findings noted.
