a Typical Day at Work
I start work at KPMG at 8h30 am. Check all servers and network tasks: VM, user data and SQL databases backups and monitor network connectivity on all departments including network printers and wifi access points. At around 9h30 support tickets starts to enter: I check the most urgent to solve till I reach the less urgent ticket.
Some users will just come in to the IT department to ask specific questions on how to perform a specific task on his computer.
A meeting will be conducted at 11h30 to discuss ongoing projects and new ones.
Lunch is at 13h till 14h, I have lunch randomly with users from different departments.
After lunch I focus more on ongoing Infrastructure projects related to the networks and servers where I have to communicate with partners and document the outputs
