Tax Consultant at Transfer Pricing
During my previous employment as Senior Tax Consultant in the Transfer Pricing department in KPMG Portugal, I have gained a lot of relevant knowledge in transfer pricing while analyzing and providing consultancy services to our client companies. In particular, I have been accountable for development of transfer pricing structures in various industrial companies in the field of automobile manufacturing, steel production, high-tech medical device industry as well as photography and imaging industry. Since graduation for my degree in Economy, I have developed my interest and my competencies in transfer pricing and tax consultancy. While working for a financial consultancy company I have been able to develop my skills from the perspective of a consultant becoming familiar with many different industries and company structures.
While working in tax consultancy on a project basis I have learned the value of teamwork including the value of teaching young colleagues about work procedures and transfer pricing subjects. The nature of the projects often involved interaction and cooperation with multinational companies, which was a great opportunity to become comfortable with working in a multinational- and multicultural environment.

Terrible bosses & very underappreciative. Bullying culture is prevalant
Favoritism in the department is obvious. Managers pick and choose who to be nice to and are very underappreciative. There is a severe lack of teamwork. No encouragement is given and managers will constantly belittle you unless of course you are liked by them. The job itself is fine but if you are planning to apply i suggest to look for other companies instead

Productive and competitive workplace
KPMG is a great company with many opportunities. KPMG global mobility services is a very fast paced team. The most enjoyable part of my job is the interface with clients and that every day is different. I learned how to effectively manage my time and work load when working on two clients, with numerous managers.

Fantastic Place to start a career.
KPMG is a fantastic place to start a career. The company's investment in its people, puts its employees on top in the job market. However, the price to pay for all the investment is little or no time to spend with loved ones.

A Consultancy Firm
A really good place to grow as a professional. Opportunity to have many hours of training. A really hierarchical company so the level of proficiency is really high in the majority of the tasks.
