Tax Assistant : avis sur KPMG
Excellent Employment Opportunity
I really loved working at KPMG and the only reason I have left is due to contract stipulations regarding the exam attempts at obtaining the CA qualification.
The average work day was varied and could shift from preforming research to answer a client query, communicating with authorities and talking with clients.
The workplace was relaxed but everyone was expected to contribute and do the best they could be. At all levels a commitment to do the best for the client and the employees existed. There was constant training and advancement opportunities.
Points positifsExenstive and constant training and learning opportunites
Points négatifsLong hours at times

A long time ago now, but even now, being made redundant when seemingly noone else in the office was rankles with me.
Timesheets never had a high enough utilisation rate, and the office was a satellite - ie Head office forgot about us
In fact, it is closed now, and staff have moved away, so this is a very specific review with a personal slant. I enjoyed the money, but nothing else whatsoever
Points positifslunch allowance, bonus, pension
Points négatifsNothing was ever good enough for them
Productive and overall growth
Working with KPMG was the best part of my career. The seniors are supportive and make sure we grow along with them. For the dedicated people the success and growth is for sure. Its the best place to work for women as well and the work life balance for mother-to-be or be it a working mother, KPMG has everything in place to support them. I wish to join back KPMG if I ever have an option.
Points négatifsLong working hours
Intense and fast paced
KPMG is a world wide Tax/Audit/Accounting firm. Fast paced, and at times, highly stressful position as I reviewed and tracked all federal tax returns being submitted to clients. The position offered me an opportunity to see and be a part of a large team and have intimate knowledge of working for big business.
Points positifsTax celebrations were second to known.
Points négatifsHigh stress

Everywhere around the world if you meet a accountancy certificate holding personal he might know big four firms. KPMG is also one of big four so working there taught me a lot and everyone supportive there. Nothing to worry if you are talking with your boss, they are so cooperative and helpful.

Excellent work culture with lots of learning
Working at KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co, has groomed me as a professional and has enhanced my personality by giving me more confidence to deal with both: a copious amount of work and challenging personalities.

The experience I had was pretty good in China.
The experience I had was pretty good in China. And I was the only Assistant Manager there in 2014 when I started to work there. I took a lot of professional work and also support work as the KPMG Tianjin just started.

- Manage a portfolio of clients with their corporate income tax compliance obligations.
- Interacting with clients at various levels to analyse, identify and deliver tax planning ideas and advice to enhance commercial value.
This was a great place to work. As an American, the salary was not there, but they pay enough to have a good life in country. Good company for Americans looking to live/work in Europe.
Points positifsGood work/life balance
