My current job
How my work place is:
My day is normally based at a client premises where I am conducting different internal audit processes. The processes would range from HR, Talent Management, Financial Discipline Reviews, Sustainability Reviews and many more.
I learned a lot about starting an audit from beginning to end. This involves planning and coordinating with clients, developing audit programs and perform audit test steps then producing a final audit report. Part of my job also includes being confidential with client information and using GRC Internal Audit System to document my audit.
I also attended a lot of trainings which I believed that they shaped me to be a better internal auditor. The trainings include but are not limited to Process Analysis, IDEA and DATA Analytics, GRC Training, Business Writing, KPMG Internal Audit Methodology and Internal Audit Standards.
The hardest part of the job is to make clients accept findings but this can be managed by documenting sufficient audit evidence to substantiate the findings.
The most enjoyable part of the job is to enhance client systems and controls by providing recommendations that add value to the business and hopefully cut costs.

Work was always fun and i enjoyed working on different assignments with different people
Waking up in the mrorning, get tp work, make tea, check emails, contact the client, get ready to go to the client. Start workigm, setting up meetings, discussions finding, client being difficuty etc,
Manager reviewing work papers and reports, get reveiw quries and address them.
What i learned was learn from your review quries and make sure you never get the same review note again.
The most enjoying part was working as a team and helping each other.
Hardest part was extensive travelling
