Highly competitive and productive workplace
As an audit and consulting firm, the typical day involves meeting clients and actively assisting\advising them, in my instance, with cyber security and IT management related initiatives and solutions.
The firm has several business units, which unique address different client requirements. These include an advisory, tax, and audit business. Each of which has its own management structure, headed by highly qualified and passionate individuals.
KPMG strives itself on having a friendly and approachable workplace culture, ensuring that even the junior staff can freely contact and interact with top management. It truly is family-oriented, and often have social events to bring office members together.
The hardest part of working for the firm, is that the work is highly competitive. It also requires quick acquisition of new skills, as clients often requirement insights and assistance in the latest trends. This is further exposed by the fact that the firm services multiple industries and geographical areas.
The most enjoyable part of the job is that you meet a variety of different clients, travel almost all days, and get to interact with and learn from some of the industry leaders in different industry sectors.
Points positifsTeamwork oriented, friendly people
Points négatifsLong hours, traveling job, difficult clients

Learning- I have learnt a lot in terms of workload and people management;
Management- like any other place is biased but still take action on all the points raised by the majority;
Hardest part- Marketing the hardwork that you have putting because apparently only hardwork is not enough to succeed

Pay and increment is low
Apart from salary and increments all the things were good. The management being very bad at a time is a root cause to this. But other than that it was good to work in this organisation.
