Typical day of work
I ussually started at work at 8:30 am to 6 pm. I attended audits, clients and personnel development. Also I was in charge of the Maracaibos`s officce which had around 30 professionals.

Good and bad
I spent 20 years at KPMG and on balance, they were good years. However it is also a sweat shop, salary is not competitive, and the work environment is extremely competitive to a fault. Not everyone’s cup of tea.

The culture is quite challenging. Hard work, ok pay, limited mentoring. The partners are a very stressed group of people and often are more concerned about their own well being.
