friendly environment , made me feel comfortable , people were willing to share their experince and knowledge
Was my first job ever in the industry, so it was intimidating at the beginning because there were people who worked in the industry for a really long time and were really knowledgable as well. But, they made me feel so comfortable and within a short span i was able to ask ask even trivial quesions without feeling stupid. Such kind of attitude had made me learn a lot. My work was to shadow the experinced auditors to the client's location and i was allowed to do back end analysis of their reports. I learnt what an Auditor would do on a daily basis, how they handle their clients, how well they respected their jobs and never did they complain about travelling. Hardest pasrt of the job for me was to understand someone else's documentation. Most enjoyable was working with my team members. They were so welcoming , i learnt a lot from them and we had a lot of team activities as well.
Points positifsgood work enironment, buddy system until you get familiar with the office, group activities
Points négatifsgot to see a little bit of politics, but it does exist everywhere i guess

At KPMG as an IT intern I facilitated technical team in the integration of telecommunication system at various locations. In addition I provided technical desktop supports to local and remote clients in terms of installations, validations, and maintenance of OS and networks. Initiated transformative IT policies designed to harden system security, including enhanced measures for password requirements and user access.

Golden Opportunity
For the individual who seeks career advancement. If you consider yourself driven and love the work environment this is definitely worth an attempt. The days are 8 hour days. For interns you're 30 minutes ahead of regular employees with everything i.e arrival, lunch and departure. Management is available for you at all times. Sort of a walk-in policy. Asking questions is easy really. Deadlines are a nightmare to miss but if you're on your toes the whole thing is a breeze.

The job experience was top-notch.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the free course meals. Nevertheless, you will learn a lot from live projects and the ever-ready management. The workplace culture is also rigorously followed through.

Good company, low pay but not great work to give its employees
Good company, low pay but not great work to give its employees. As an intern I felt like I didn't learn much. Great people though and really friendly management.

Employees are like fish in a big pond
The organization of hierarchy at KPMG is impressive, with very detailed an specific verticals within each horizontal. The work I got to do as an intern was a small part of a large project.

Great place to work
Great management and overall place to work. Big 4 public accounting is very time consuming at times but that is due to the nature of the work and the staff in utilization model.
