Resource Management is a little like being an internal recruitment consultant, but with having an internal, permanent, pool of consultants, whom I place on jobs. I do this by understanding individual's career aspirations (via one to ones) as well as the Firm's requirements via being a valued Resourcer and go to person to the Teams. Great Involvement in: Recruitment, Onboarding, Contractors; dealing directly with Recruiters and reviewing CV’s, and, once candidates have been identified, arranging interviews with the appropriate stakeholders, arranging Assessment Centres which are set up for candidates to complete case studies to assess their suitability. Equally great involvement in Global Mobility, particularly with regards to retaining staff and also good involvement in developing our people via recommending training etc. An HR element is also evident in the role, particularly with regards to occupational health, making sure all health needs of individuals are taken into consideration (if any) whilst resource planning & general wider workforce planning and organizational development where applicable
