Mundane but Easy
You're essentially working in an outsource department doing the tasks that free up higher ranked employees. When on engagements, you will do things such as take meeting minutes, data entry, document review. The more advanced you are, you may get to actually do work that matters to the engagement. The upper management from the KPMG engagements are normally very supportive, more so than your actual management. The pay is very low for their upper talent with strict department transfer rules. Their benefits are pretty good but just average compared to a lot of smaller companies out there. The 401k was just implemented last year, so that's a positive. They match/give if you participate or not. What I like most is how they allow you to be yourself. No matter your gender, ethnicity, or preference, all are welcomed and all your co-workers seem to believe that. The biggest negative is that it is corporate. So, there is no warning if you are going to get laid off. Although they send emails saying they've had record years since the pandemic, they made a change to require you to come into the office three days a week.
