Productive but slightly over baring place to work, still enjoyable.
Dealing in load sales for a bank so going through all bank systems and contracts. Alot to learn at the start but it does get easier. Deadlines are weeks in advance but pressure can be on due to getting access to certain needed information and rechecking to make sure all information is the most up to date and correct.
Quite workplace but all decent and helpful staff.
Management can be a little over baring as each case you deal with can be different size and complexity but it does all work out at the end.
In this position as we are off site we do not follow suit with main office KPMG and do not avail of everything that they do like finishing 3:30 on fridays during July and August and only some times on bank holidays even though we are contracked to on the bank holidays.

The years spent in that organisation were amazing. The culture, the standard, the view of the corporate world is spectacular. I would be misleading if were to rate the experience there as any less than perfect,then i would be misleading with the information. All i can say is; SPECTACULAR!

insecure contract
training was non existent, had little to no system training, then was told by management I was making mistakes.
no one to help me, no managers, quality checkers or floor walkers to help.
managed to get myself into the swing of things, and myself, and others had their contracts terminated (to be fair at least we had a weeks notice)

Productive and positive place to build a good start to your career
I had a very good experience working at KPMG GDC, considering this was my first job. The work environment was very positive and highly motivating. The initial training provided was very useful to build a successful start. Along with work, a lot of fun activities were organized for the employees.

Employees are expected to work 10 hours a day
Good experience, but lot can be improved. The higher management boss around to show their power. Deadlines are strict and unreasonable and if you cannot complete your task within these deadlines, you will be thrown under the bus.

Poor Management
The supposed team manager was quite difficult to understand and to me demonstrated poor knowledge of the work.
We did not hit it off and this was the reason I decided not to stay
Rest of the staff were supportive and helpful.

Amazing place to work
Great management team that is focused on achieving firm goals. They are good at interpersonal relations and the guidance they offer is quite helpful. The lunch table conversations are something to look forward to.

Difficult to move around. Management can either be great or garbage. Communication is terrible throughout the org chart. Some team members will be sharks.

Felt Mislead by job description
Found the job slow-paced, minimal training and structure. Job did not match what was advertised. Very nice people, some social events. very flexible..
