Points positifsGood work exposure from the begining
Very Stressful environment, impolite supervisor that use to shout at the staff, followed by disrespectful junior staff, I was based in the clients building In a insalubre room with no ar, no option to open the windows, Dividing desk with another employee, cereal bowls all over the room floor and edge of the windows, manager desk was literally a bin, full of RUBISH in the floor and desk, insane !Starting before and finishing after my shift, never got paid my extra hours. End up getting several Heath problems due to stress.
Productive work culture, and a typical big 4 experience.
The organization has a typical big 4 mindset, which translates to more working hours than the regular. A consultant gets to learn at the early stages in his/her career, but consultancy is not cut-out for every individual; the faster you realise, the better.
The work in the company, all depends upon your teammates and the projects. The different projects can help an individual to propel in their career. So it all depends upon the kind of work that your team does and your involvement and value that you bring to the team.
A typical day at work would be starting with the targets to achieve which are always very much demanding
Learned a lot about consulting services.
Management is good
Workplace culture varies from cities to cities however overall it is nice
Hardest part of the job is time management and staying healthy
The best part is the respect one gets of being a part of such a great firm
Points positifsBig name and recognition, Diversified work profiles
Points négatifsLong hours, no appreciation from management, Biased decision many times
The company is a behemoth. Working with a behemoth comes with its own set of problems, corporate processes with tons of layers being just one of them.
There is limited ownership and accountability. People generally stick to their job descriptions.
It is a horrible place to learn. However, for someone who is looking to have it easy at the workplace, KPMG might be a good idea.
Points positifsCompensation, Timely hours, Work Life Balance
Points négatifsPoor Management, Not a place to learn, Inefficient Processes
Had been associated with different projects which represented various organizations and had
gained knowledge about the business which they are in and understood the process and
operations.
Considered to be an efficient team player.
Primary task in hand was to ensure increase quality of deliverable and reducing turnaround
time, by finding areas of improvement in the process and implement automation.
Possess relevant knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office.
A kickstart to consultancy career, the best team to work with, a lot of inter-disciplinary learning and interaction, posting at the client location and quick transition into the client-facing role. Exceptional senior leadership and expert mentoring.
The most enjoyable part is team interaction and sharing of knowledge.
Points positifsLot of opportunities to learn, variety of training material
Points négatifsVery long hours, a lot of work pressure, unrealistic deadlines
Good WLB, people are nice and its a good environment to work in.
KPMG is a great place to start your career. If you want to grow at the firm you have to navigate company politics and fiercely advocate for yourself. The work life balance is great and you will have flexibility to work remote depending on your project/client. overall, this is a good firm to work, especially if you're willing to do the extra legwork to get infant of firm leadership and accelerate promotion

Workplace Culture
KPMG strives to create a great workplace culture for their employees and they have succeeded. Everyone really strives to work as a team and is very open and collaborative. Upper level management is proud of the culture they have created and continue to instill. The company also have really great employee benefits and truly cares about their employees (often shown in other ways than compensation).
As part of my job, I got the opportunity to understand and work with organizations across various sectors ranging from Food and Beverages to Industrial Manufacturer.
I was fortunate to interact with key stakeholders of these organizations such as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
Points positifsOpportunities to travel to various parts of India
Points négatifsLong Hours
