Toxic work environment . Management clueless on ground realities . High work stress. Proper training not provided .
Without doubt their immigration practice is the worst place I have ever worked for. The management has no idea about the lack of processes at the operations level. They have high expectations from employees but lack any kind of operational process and support system in place . They are old school and not open to change. Old time senior managers are very rude and condescending. Terrible place to work. They need to learn to respect and be kind to their employees. You will only get nightmares about work and will have no peace of mind. I will not refer working here to anyone. They should have a 360 appraisal system and should get rid of all the old timers that work with a condescending and rude attitude.
Points positifsWork from home
Points négatifsExtremely toxic work culture, No training process, Staff shortage, No recognition for effort, Impractical work pressure especially at admin level roles, Management does not care about mental health of employees, Mental and emotional burnout is a high possibility, Employees are severely underpaid and highly overworked

Working for lawyers who aren't taught how to be managers
A lot of the low to mid level staff are amazingly kind, fun people, and many of the lawyers who work at the firm are too. However, fun people who have passed the bar are not necessarily prepared to manage large teams. There's little structure to training and directions, meaning you have to guess what supervisors want from you. On a related note, it is very difficult to advance past a mid level role unless a) you're a lawyer or registered immigration consultant or b) you spend a very, very long time in that mid level role.
Points positifsBenefits and vacation are fair
Points négatifsUntrained management, minimal opportunities for growth

Productive and wonderful place to work
a typical day starts with team activity wherein all the team members sit and finalise the days activity and chalk out plans for the day.
I have learnt so much from the experiences of my seniors and the free hand they give to their team to develop management skills.
workplace culture is amazing with everyone supporting you and ready to offer help and any given point in time.
Hardest part of the job is long working hours and the most enjoyable part of the job is team building activities.

Dynamic company
My day would start by shortlisting the CV's received. Candidate invitation for assessments, assessments administration and rating. Schedule of interviews, actual interviews, recommendation and appointments. Management and coworkers were very close, like a family. The hardest part of the job was to regret candidates that were desperate looking for work. The most enjoyable part f the work was to appoint very good candidates.

Not a bad place if you are a collge graduate
I enjoy the work at KPMG. But not the people. They do not treat their admin staff with respect. I feel they belive that admin staff can be very easily recruited so therefore almost disposable.
I have worked here for 12 years. Some of the people are very nice. But not once they are promoted to managers and higher levels.
They can be quite rude to deal with on a daily basis. They do not focus on the good for the most part.
Points positifsgood nights out

The good, the bad, the ugly
Work hard, learn lots, system upgrade every 3 years. Difficult to get momentum. Managers, senior managers and partners will squeeze the life of you. If you're starting your accounting career, you found your company, after 3-4 years, you'll be looking at other opportunity. Every month, you get 1-2 good bye emails, Take the emotional out of the equation, bottom line is the most important and utilization.
