Avis généraux sur l'entreprise KPMG (Seattle, WA)
KPMG is a fantastic place to work and really values the advancement of their employees
KPMG has been a great place for me to start my career. The management teams here have ensured that I am learning various skills that I receive exposure to many different clients and industries for my benefit. The company is extremely flexible when working to make sure that you are pursing the goals that you would like within the bounds of the jobs. There are times when I feel like I am being asked to, or are actively engaging in projects that call for more experience. In those cases I feel like I am being under compensated as I am doing work at a higher level than what I am being paid to do.
Points positifsflexibility in the work and client portfolio, great benefits, industry exposure, upskilling is supported and funded
Points négatifslong working hours, under compensated for certain work, lots of internal training
Intense and fast paced
KPMG is a world wide Tax/Audit/Accounting firm. Fast paced, and at times, highly stressful position as I reviewed and tracked all federal tax returns being submitted to clients. The position offered me an opportunity to see and be a part of a large team and have intimate knowledge of working for big business.
Points positifsTax celebrations were second to known.
Points négatifsHigh stress
KPMG Career Foundation
KPMG is an excellent place to obtain a solid foundation for your career, regardless if you stay on for the track to partner. You will gain exposure to various companies, industries, strategies, operations, leadership styles, corporate cultures, etc. That experience will serve you well whatever you end up doing.
Points positifsgain knowledge and experience
Points négatifslong hours
Good place to work
I left because they were only offering web development jobs, but if that is your cup of tea, KPMG is pretty good. They are pretty relaxed and place a high emphasis on work/life balance and community assistance. Really, the only downside is the cubicle-farm office space, and the lack of management vision.
Good place to learn and grow, at the expense of work life balance
Good place to learn. The organization is interested in moving people along the important milestones. Compensation is comparable to other firms. Best thing about the job is the hard working and energetic peers. Cons are too much work, but its expected.
Good for starting out
I was laid off after working there for 10 years. It is a good company, good benefits but they expect you to keep working overtime, no work life balance and depending on what team you are... Internal politics.
Points positifs25 days vacation, work from home
Points négatifsLong hours, laid off if they lose accounts
Can be anything.
Like most large companies one's experiences at KPMG largely depends on their immediate team and/or management. It also depends on the industry/sector and nature of clients you serve.
Whether you're in Advisory, Tax or Audit also makes a world of difference.
Fantastic work life balance for BPG
From the BPG standpoint, the company normally has tremendous flexibility and being reasonable when it comes to life events. They will let you work from home when appropriate and will make sure you are properly taken care of.
People are great
Everyone says that the best part about KPMG are the people and they are right. The job can be very demanding during busy seasons. Clients needs are sometimes put in front of employee needs to the point where life can become miserable.
A great place to work. Colleagues are bright. Managers are held to a high bar for values. I would recommend. They are people-focused and care about employees.
Points positifsGreat co-workers
Points négatifsSome delay in addressing low performance
