An ok place to work
its good for beginners . but difficult to hang on the job.
basically its the only company that does background verification of ex- employees. so there is alot of work load on the verification team . this team is very small compared to the other departments . the pressure just increases with each passing day , its not the hardest job but its very stagnant and people tend to drift away fro what they are supposed to do .management is very policy related only for the benefit of the firm , its does not benefit the employe in any concern.
therefore the people resign their jobs in few months.

I was the part of KPMG India verification practice for 4 years.
I was the keen member of research team, where in i use to do the online finding about the educational institutes/ boards on the basis on which the higher management use to tag the institute as genius or fake.
I use to publish these database after a detailed finding across location on monthly basis, for which i have got a Kudos award from the director of KPMG India and a appreciation mail from the client end.
Working in KPMG was full of excitement as we use to have our half yearly outing. The work culture was also too encouraging.

Excellent work atmosphere. Gives a variety of jobs to work on. Fantastic learning experience. Dynamic.
The advisory field of the organization is pretty dynamic and works as per the client requirement. Thus, every working day is different and one gets an opportunity to work with different people (of different ranks) and hence have gathered various points from each of them. The co-workers are very friendly and extremely helpful.

It was an excellent organization to work with.
A typical day would start mostly with the planning of the day and the rest of the week.
I learned how to manage and work with people, i also developed my technical skills working in KPMG.
Management was up to the mark.
Colleagues and co-workers were very friendly except for a few.
The hardest part of the job was to manage the deadlines, my job was totally based on real time situations.
The most enjoyable part was also the deadlines, the joy and peace after the deliverable was complete was soul satisfying.

Very bad experience
I joined the company as a fresher. Since the beginning I witnessed the prevailing toxic environment. Not an appropriate workplace to be in due to the below stated reasons.

Points négatifsVery low salary, Too much work load, No comp off and bonus, Rigid working hours, And even if you are 5 minutes late to log in or if you are away for lunch for a few minutes, they would yell at you. Inefficiency in managing work, Seniors are not cooperative and well mannered, Full on partiality and biased decisions happen, Toxic environment in brief.

Background Verification - Not exactly a dream job
The job was very monotonous hence, didn't have much to look forward to.
From a fresher to a Senior Consultant all had the same job only different targets.
Insane amount of work pressure sometimes unreasonable deadlines.
There was a lot of frustration on the floor along with high-level politics and bullying.

Good Working Experience
My first job, made me confident as a team player and gave me good experience how to be responsible. Transfer pricing was like small department more like a family, everyone worked hard and there was good review system between the management and subordinates.
Good working environment, great place to get experience from and great company for your first job as an employee.

one of the best company to work with
KPMG is undoubtedly one of the best company to work with. Except some exceptions, I do not find any glitch. Work life balance, very good working culture, good professionals, great team work.
