An experience of a lifetime
Work starts at 9 am in the morning and ends when the work is completed to the level that it can end within the time limits given. I learned a lot at KPMG. I learned KPMG how an audit is conducted according to KPMG's audit methodology using KPMG audit softwares and auditing tools. The environment and culture at KPMG is very co operative and the co workers help you in any difficulty faced in the completion of a quality work. The skills and expertise of the co workers helped in performing my work efficiently and effectively. The hardest part of the job was when we were auditing the financial statements of OGDCL ( Oil & Gas Development Company Limited) annually. We had to stay at the office for 4 nights to complete the work. The most enjoyable part of the job at KPMG was the jokes we shared amongst ourselves in our free times and the enthusiasm to complete our job on time. Overall, my experience at KPMG was a one to remember and of great importance due to the amount of experience I gained there.

Measure your results, not your time
The whole idea of working smarter rather than harder stems from the fact that many of us put in more and more hours only to find we don't get more done. That's why we want to find methods to be more productive in less time.
One way to do this is to adjust the way you measure productivity. If you evaluate yourself by what you actually get done rather than the time it takes to get something done, you'll start to notice a difference in how you work.
If I have a big project to complete, try breaking it down into "completable" sections. For instance, I like to break down my audit assignment into sections and small tasks. With a set of smaller tasks making up a big project, I can check off what I get done each day, even if it takes me many days to finish the whole assignment.
