A typical day at work starts with an assessment of the target for the day. Tasks are allocated to the team member(s). Client meetings are organised and updates are given to the senior management about the progress of work done. At KPMG, I worked on developing and implementing business improvement strategies, conducting risk assessments and comprehensive financial and operational process reviews to enhance performance. I have gained widespread industry exposure, financial and operational knowledge of companies ranging from start – up companies to Fortune 500 companies. My rich experience in providing recommendations to large corporates on enhancing operational efficiency and profitability in business processes will prove to be valuable for any firm. Management levels vary based on the complexity of the assignment. I have had co-workers from varied background and having rich experience. Hardest part of the job is to stretch one's capabilities and potential to complete the tasks in a short period of time. The job has to get done no matter what. The most enjoyable part of the job is the wide-ranging exposure to different industries and interactions with senior management of clients.

The company taught me how an office is run. The employees were really helpful to me and assisted me in whatever problems i faced while working.
With the way I was assisted and helped by employees, I loved working with KPMG, and would like to work again with this prestigious company. The company was very flexible and put no stress on interns, the seniors always gave tips and showed us a demonstration of how to get the work done. The work alloted was not hard as it was explained well to us by our seniors and was quite easy.
KPMG has taught me that auditing is the career I must grasp into.

A work play and learning culture at KPMG
We use to start out day with e mail sorting and replying, based on the amount of work i plan my day for the volume of work that i have to accommodate. The most enjoyable part of my job is challenge that is to finish the job within the allocated time and resources and providing value added services to clients like financial reporting services to clients. Sometimes with my co-workers we plan swimming and fun times so we can relax and maintain the work life balance.

Loved working at KPMG. everything there is great except the work / life balance. anyway, after working with the form for a while you will become workaholic and you would be requesting your superviser for more work!
