high- intensity enviroment
The resources are still very rich, usually, there will be a full range of training, often there will be a variety of experts to share, and there are many useful and expensive database access. Colleagues and bosses around are very nice, willing to help you, and often give you some feedback and practical experience. Maybe it’s the commonality of consulting. The culture of the team is very relaxed and open, there are not many OTs, and it is easy to find work-life balance (I finally know the reason for the low pay hhh), there are many team building activities, every one after work Hi together. One of my favourite things is that the workstations are fluid, so I go early every day just to get a good spot...As an intern, I feel like I'm valued at GSG. Everyone will treat you as a regular employee, and they will entrust you to do very core tasks, invite you to attend various conferences and events, take you to meet customers, go to client sites, participate in projects, and even go on business trips. And we will arrange a one-to-one buddy and PM for you, a special intern coordinator, and a secretary to help you with all the administrative work...

Productive and professional workplace
KPMG, one of the 'Big four', is a great company in terms of profession and productivity. As a designer in KPMG, I was responsible for material design of China compus recruitment and internal communication. The work involved website page design, brochure design, poster design et cetera. The job needs me to deliver the creativity and visual attraction as well as brand consistency. The enjoyable part is the sense of achievement that I have tens of thousands of students readers and get the good feedback from them. In the same time, my design work supports strongly firm's image of profession and productivity.
Points positifsProfessional team work; A clear career path;
Points négatifsLack of creative enviroment for a designer.

A place to learn, a good place to start your career
the Big 4 is a good start of career.
I learnt a lot from my seniors and managers.
I also got to know many good colleagues who I would cherish for my whole life.
If you don't know which type of work suit you, big 4 is absolute a good place to start!
However, the work life balance is not that good.
sometime you may work overtime without OT pay.
During Peak season, 60 hours per week is very normal to everyone.
if you have the energy, then go for it!

Research, communication, meeting, project
It's busy, but I learned everyday. 7:30 am arrived office, and checked emails. 8:30 am started group meeting. Do your own tasks. Then Meeting with Partner and Clients. Sometimes, we go out office and meet clients at their workplace. Communicated with our clients company in different departments. Set up the database and system to improve their business procedures.
Points positifsAlways Learning
Points négatifsLong Hours

Learning from the pros!
The great thing about KPMG is I was able to learn about proven process and procedures for effective deal management in M&A, valuation, modeling and deal negotiations. I was also able to build our PE Group in China and learned Mandarin Chinese in the process

stressful and intense working environment
The whole company is great, but I hope there will be more balance for employees between job and life. The company lacks of outdoor activities and it should hold more team-based events, which will greatly enhance employees' sense of belongs.

Efficient working culture and supportive colleagues and admins
Overall it is a great place to work, allowing graduates get heads up and become professional in couple of years.
The starting salary is kind of low, but advancement is great, in term of money and job title.

stressful
perfect work-life balance because there is no personal life, lol/
It may be a biased comment because I only worked during the audit peak time, and working from home made things worse.
The colleague is one of the best parts. They are kind and supportive. Training is good too.

Fun place to work at
I did a summer internship at KPMG Shanghai
and I enjoyed everyday at my office.
My colleagues and my manager were all very helpful and friendly,
I learned a lot from this experience and my passion for becoming an auditor was enhanced by this experience.
